Passengers can fly with Spirit Airlines because the aircraft is allowed to carry a maximum of four pet containers on all domestic trips. Passengers travelling with dogs must check in at the ticket counter. Keep in mind that pets are not permitted on international flights. According to Spirit Airlines' Pet Policy, passengers are allowed one pet carrier per person with up to two pets inside when flying overseas.
